A 90 degree split combiner based upon quarter lambda line elements. Much used for balanced power amplifier pallets due to the ease adding the separation load and the inherent failure protection.
Here I allow up to 4 box's in theoretical, microstrip, stripline and slabline. In addition it is possible transform the input to output impedances. This is especially usefull to simplify combining pallets. This is similar to the SumFilter approach.
This simple calculation is for 3db coupling, max-flat or Butterworth response, equal source-isolation termination, equal output termination. For a more complete design, non 3db coupling, arbitary termination, ripple or Chebychev response, crossover, there is the advanced button.
